New members commit to a two-year term, with the opportunity to serve additional terms based on mutual agreement and fulfilling responsibilities outlined in the VAAEN Board Member Agreement.
Our Mission
As a member of the VAAEN Board, you will help guide our nonprofit’s efforts to provide accessible resources, tailored training, and a supportive community for professionals. Your contributions will directly impact our mission to foster empowerment, excellence, and collaboration among Virtual Assistants and administrative professionals.
The Role
Board members will:
- Attend monthly board meetings to discuss strategy and initiatives.
- Chair or co-chair committees to support organizational goals.
- Provide input on workshops, training, and membership programs.
- Promote VAAEN’s mission within your professional networks.
- Participate in VAAEN events to engage with members and represent the organization.
- Contribute to post-event reviews to enhance future programs.

- A minimum three-year term, renewable based on mutual agreement
- Active participation in monthly board meetings and organizational efforts
- Dedication to supporting VAAEN’s mission and initiatives.
